Stay Committed to Your Commitment

What I am going to write may sound trivial but when you experience things, their true worth becomes obvious.
The other day I got so impressed by a physicist that I would tell everyone how humble and considerate he is. That influence, however, wore off exponentially. I had a meeting arranged with him. I went to see him and he told me he could not do the required work because he had been busy, so I should come next time. This scenario has happened twice. It made me realize that when you think of making a commitment, be sure that you can fulfill it. Otherwise, do not make promises. It has a negative impact on the other person.
